Arthur

Hello to all dog lovers,



I have a very sweet Shih Tzu named Arthur. He is a really mellow guy. He is a rescued pup from the SPCA as he was abandoned in a garage with two cats for, we don’t know how long! I rescued him and we have loved him since June 2011. We have a growing granddaughter who is now 15 months and she tries to be so gentle with him, but she is young and she has pulled his hair and tail and he is frightened and snaps. He is about 6 yrs. old and loves to run and play with his ball and toys. Honestly, I think he has never had his own bed or toys as he behaves like he is so grateful for cuddles, new toys etc. It breaks my heart, but our granddaughter comes first and I want to find him a home where he will be loved and appreciated by adults and would recommend no children. He would be fine with older children who are aware, are gentle and won’t pull at him or corner him. He plays very well with our other shih tzu and is submissive, not a dominant dog. He is neutered as well and is very clean and well behaved in the house. He only chews his toys and loves chew bones.
